Lucifer who is also known as a “Beautiful Bright Morning Star” was supposed to be eternally saved. But what is the main reason why he was cast out by God from heaven? It is the Pride!
He was now well known as Satan who masquerading himself as an angel of light and his main job is to kill, steal and destroy everything and everyone. And the effective means to get his dirty jobs well done is to sow the seed of pride in the hearts of men, especially to those who are saved.
All Christians who claimed they are truly saved/eternally saved must seriously considered what the scriptures said:
“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. James 4:6 NIV
“Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' Matt 7:22-23.
Being proud actually breeds many kinds of evildoing. In the same way evildoing breeds pride even more. Therefore the main reason why saved person might not be saved at all is because of PRIDE.
Therefore, it's very important to always ask God that he may give a humble spirit.
