Forced Your Body

All person who claimed they are saved must forced their body-their self to do the irking task of evangelism. Especially those who called themselves as ministers, they must force their body to move and act upon in preaching the gospel outside of their comfort zones. If they will not force their body, the members of their own body (eyes, hand and tongue) will always forced them to the lustful works of their body until it caused them to be in danger of the fire of hell.

Watch Out on the members or the parts of your body they have the power and the forced to put you in the danger of the fire of hell Mark 9:43-48.

As far as the physical body is concerned, this body which is also called as flesh is contrary (Gal 5:17) to the spiritual things of God in particular is in the area of evangelism. The body can never and ever be desirous even in a smallest amount to cooperate with the desire of the Spirit. In totality the body is in opposite way to the way of the Spirit. The Spirit wants, “Go outside and (evangelize) preach the gospel” but the body wants, “Stay in the comfort zone”.

No one even one Christian can deny that in their members of their body there seems to be a power pulling them to do the things, “what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do”. In their inner self they want to pray but the problem is, the body is very weak to carry out to do it. That is just one reality of how the body works against the wants of the Spirit of God that dwells within.

Until these days, very few or none at all Christians can be seen roaming around doing a one-on-one evangelism. It’s ironic the Christian who are supposed to be seen outside doing an evangelism are the people inside of their own house. They often seen non-Christian passing by in their streets and in their houses doing their own evangelism (the Jehovah witnesses). In fact, there are many chances Christian have met the JW right at their door. For sure there are no Christians who didn’t come across with the JW in some instances or another. But very rare Christian who come across along the way with another Christian doing evangelism or knocking at the door just to hand out a gospel tract.

We must move our body and force them to be one with the Spirit wants, and here are two practical steps on how to force our body:

Step 1: Go out once a week to give gospel tract to at least two people.
·         Just start in that little effort and maintain at least once a week for you to go out and give out.
·         Regardless of what you feel, of what you think, of what you heard and see and what others will say just step outside, move your body and act upon it.
·         If you feel fearful to give you can leave gospel tract in some places people can pick it up and read such as in phone booth, restaurant, shopping mall, bench and in many other places.
·         Give, give, give. Don’t stop. You will sense a deep joy in your inner self as you continue.

Step 2: Continue to go out once a week to give gospel tract to many people as you want and then begin to do a one-on-one evangelism to at least one person, once a month.
·         When you become at ease in giving gospel tract, a confidence of talking to someone (the unbelievers) about the gospel will build up.
·         Learn and use the methods in evangelism
·         Make every effort to evangelize to at least one person in a month, if you fail try again next month.
·         Don’t stop to give tracts. Don’t stop to move your body. Don’t stop to try again when you failed.

Little by little move out your body until the body becomes accustom on evangelism, C.H. Spurgeon said: “We must force ourselves to do the irking task of evangelism until it becomes so easy”.

And I say to all Christian particularly to all ministers of the gospel, “Force your body to move toward giving gospel tracts and doing a one-on-one evangelism or else your body will force you in the danger of the fire of hell”.

If you want excitement, true joy that overflows and a thrill of a lifetime then make tracts giving and evangelism a part of your daily or weekly or monthly venture. Better to make it as your lifestyle.
